AYM had its 2nd-annual Recruitment Fair on 29 April 2018, where different ministries were highlighted and youths were encouraged to sign up and make use of their gifts and talents in serving God and the church.
As we wanted to do something different for our ministry fair this year, we decided that all ministries would present and showcase their ministries interactively through games and quizzes, which was the highlight of the fair as everyone actively participated in the activities planned.
Communications - Broken Telephone Charades Game
Contemporary Issues - Quiz questions about C.I. ministry through Kahoot! (a free, interactive game-based learning platform)
Welcome & Fellowship - Members acted as newcomers and got the youths to make these “newcomers” feel welcome and invite them for an “outing”.
Worship - ‘Don’t Forget The Lyrics’ Game and a testimony shared by Gretel Tan
We hoped that we have sparked interest in some of our youths to start serving in the various ministries as we believe that serving is one of the ways that helps us to grow deeper in our walk with God.
