On the 7th of July we celebrated Youth Sunday! It was a memorable service where we got to serve hand-in-hand with the adults in worship and welcoming. This year, Youth Sunday fell on our monthly Inter-generational Service as well, and the Children Ministry joined the service throughout.
It was an exciting and encouraging experience seeing the whole church come together to worship. We also had one children's worship song which involved doing actions, led by two youths. It was heartwarming to see the children and the adults doing the actions together!
The sermon preached by our Youth Staff, Mr Jeremiah Singh on 'Radical Renewal' , from Malachi, was also heartwarming. While the sermon was preached, the children had worksheets to do to keep them occupied and engaged. They did well!
It was truly a memorable experience seeing various age groups worship and serve together. At the end of the service the youths were given pencil cases as a gift to commemorate Youth Day.
