Our focus for the year is “Community and Outreach” - we are believing and praying for our youths to grow closer to one another and also to go out to share God’s love. Pray that we will grow to be a community that is relational – one that is real and vulnerable, loving and encouraging with one another. Our desire is that our youths will form close friendships as they walk together in their journey of faith here in Agape.
One area which we believe to be critical in building a stronger community is our Disciple Groups (DGs). Most of our youths attend DG regularly, and this is where they spend most of their time with fellow youths to learn about the Word, pray for one another and simply do life together! Pray that God will move mightily through the DGs, that the DGs will be a safe place for our youths to grow and learn; pray also for our DG Leaders to be strengthened to shepherd as He leads them.
Many of our activities this year are geared towards reaching out to friends of our youths. Pray that our youths will learn to step out of their comfort zones to love as Christ loves, and to be unashamed to share the gospel with their friends, and help bring them closer to God in every way. Every small act counts and we pray that our youths will truly believe that God can use all things - both small and great!
